Background

Wetaskiwin and District Victim Services is a volunteer driven program that has been operating since 1997 to provide support for victims of crime and tragedy. The Victim Services Unit works with the Wetaskiwin RCMP and is located at 5005-48th Avenue, Wetaskiwin.

The unit has 8-10 directors on the board, 2 RCMP liaison members, and 3 paid staff. There are 20-25 volunteer advocates at any given time.
