Police-liaison

Police-based Victim Services Units operate out of a police facility. The RCMP Detachment provides liaison members to participate as a members of the local governing board. Wetaskiwin RCMP consists of two detachment areas, Wetaskiwin Municipal and Wetaskiwin Rural. Because there are two detachment areas, the board hosts two liaison member positions. The RCMP Liaison Members are voting members of the board of directors.
